While I do love many of the food options at this festival, for me this is the festival with the best DRINKS! Here are our top 5 and why we like them so much
My ABSOLUTE FAVORITE FOREVER AND ALWAYS – La vie en Rose
I know that a lot of people think that this drink is overrated, but I LOVE it! You can’t go wrong with a rose slushy – plus it’s pink! I think that it has just the right amount of sweetness for a drink, and it’s not overbearingly sugary. You just have to drink this one before it melts – I’m infamous for spilling it over the edge. Find this drink at the stand in France.
Cookie Butter Dirt & Worms
To be honest, I didn’t realize that this was a drink when I ordered it, but I’m SO GLAD that it was! It’s basically a non-alchoholic cookie butter milkshake (it has that consistency), with crushed Oreos on top and a gummy worm. It’s definitely VERY sweet, but was a great treat. Find this drink at the Flavor Full Kitchen Stand.
Arendelle Aqua Lemonade
This one is another non-alcoholic drink, although you can also get it with Ole Smoky Blackberry Moonshine. It’s frozen lemonade with cotton candy flavoring, and is super refreshing on a hot day. The cast member told us that it wasn’t SUPER frozen that day (something with the machine), but I honestly liked it better this way. You can find this one at Block & Hans in the America Pavilion.
This one is still one of my favorite drinks! It’s very tart, but very refreshing. It’s another good, frozen choice for a hot day. I won’t expand too much on this one because you just have to try it! Find it at Pineapple Promenade.
DOLE Whip with Fanta (Non-Alcoholic)
This Fanta Float version of a DOLE Whip is SO DELICIOUS! We opted for the alcohol free version, but you can also get one with rum. It’s a nice change from the usual DOLE Whip, and isn’t as messy as I expected it to be. You can also find this one at Pineapple Promenade.
(I forgot to take a picture of that one, so enjoy this picture of a plain Dole Whip in MK 😄).
That rounds out our top 5 favorite drinks! What are your favorites? Are there any that you think we should try? Let us know!
